SLAMinutes Presents #MeToo

Dec

We all sort of knew it. But as #metoo began to fill up our feeds, we began to say it. We began to say no to the abuse of power, of women, of men, of young people, of anyone too vulnerable to say no themselves without risking their careers.

December’s SLAMinutes will bring these protests centre stage… but not as you might expect. Sure, there will be Weinstein, Spacey, CK and that shady lecturer who kindly explained that everything in life is a transaction, dear.

But the stage is a strip club. The tales, not only of victims. Abused, abuser, or somewhere in-between? All perspectives are invited to this evening dedicated to maintaining the momentum of one of our time’s most important social movements. And all pieces will be performed by actors of a gender different to the person who wrote it.
